Join our dedicated Admissions Team at Sandwell College, as an Admissions Support Officer and help us deliver a smooth and welcoming admissions experience for every applicant. This is a permanent full-time role, with the opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to potential learners, staff and visitors
Process applications efficiently and accurately, ensuring data is entered and maintained to a high standard
Liaise with curriculum teams to organise interviews and support applicants throughout their journey
Support key College events including open days, interviews and enrolment
Assist with general administrative tasks including post handling, reception duties, and switchboard cover
Handle financial transactions in line with College procedures
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all College policies, including Health and Safety and Data Protection

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We’re seeking applicants who have:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
Previous experience in an administrative or reception-based role (preferably in education or customer service)
Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
The ability to work well as part of a busy team and manage multiple priorities effectively
A positive attitude, flexibility, and attention to detail
