The Position: We’re looking for a Lecturer in Engineering

If you are enthusiastic about Engineering and have a passion for teaching and sharing your knowledge, then this role could be for you. We are looking for someone with a broad range of experience in Engineering, to join our Engineering team. You will be required to prepare, teach and assess to groups of 16-19 and adult learners.

What skills are we looking for:

A multitasker – you must be able to manage various workloads at the same time
A creative thinker – you will have the freedom to bring new ideas to the table and run with them
A completer – you need to be able to get the job done, on time and in budget
Able to develop innovative and engaging resources for delivery of high-quality lessons
Excellent communication skills with students, staff and stakeholders.
Well organised and able to manage time effectively

Responsibilities for the role:

Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
Contribute to the Key Performance Indicators for the college
Deliver lectures, workshops, and tutorials.
Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry trends.
Supervise student assessments and provide academic guidance.
Carry out CPD activities to stay up to date with current trends in technologies
Contribute to departmental planning and quality assurance processes.

Unqualified 22-26 £16,740- £18,827
Qualified- 27-36 £19,393-£25,286 plus a market supplement
