South Essex Colleges Group are looking for an exceptional Curriculum Leader, ESOL

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the ESOL curriculum, ensuring alignment with funding, awarding body, and inspection requirements

• Design, review, and implement an ambitious ESOL curriculum that meets learner and employer needs

• Lead on quality assurance, learner outcomes, and continuous improvement

• Support, coach, and challenge teaching staff to deliver consistently high-quality ESOL provision

• Use data intelligently to drive retention, achievement, and progression

• Work collaboratively with cross-college teams to ensure inclusive practice and effective learner support

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering and/or managing ESOL provision

• Strong understanding of ESOL frameworks, assessment, and funding requirements

• A learner-first mindset with a track record of improving outcomes

• Confident leadership style with the ability to influence and inspire

• Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to curriculum development and quality
