East Riding College Beverley are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Head of Faculty for Professional, Digital and Media to join the well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with our Campus Principal, whilst managing a team of Programme
You will provide operational and tactical leadership across the Faculty of Professional, Digital and Media in accordance with the Partnership’s overall curriculum strategy, including the introduction of new provision and the ongoing development of existing provision. You will lead on the effective recruitment of students to the area to ensure targets are achieved. Alongside leading the curriculum team in driving improvement in the quality of teaching and learning and the overall student experience, ensuring the effective use of all resources across the area, leading the area with inspiration, innovation and enthusiasm, challenging under performance and proactively promoting excellence.
As a Head of Faculty, you will continue to develop, manage and oversee effective Partnership working with external stakeholders covering activities such as sponsorship, work placements and collaborative partnerships.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on learners experience, as well as strong leadership, management and understanding of quality and curriculum.
Candidates should also have:
- Relevant Industry experience
- Evidence of successful people management in an FE curriculum environment
- Experience of leading a team to achieve good/outstanding success rates
- Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve outstanding outcomes and experiences for learners
- Experience of delivering learning innovatively using technology
- Teaching and or Training experience in the FE sector
- Experience of effectively managing staff underperformance
