We are now looking for someone who shares that commitment to join us in the role of Library Support Centre Assistant.

About the role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and supportive Library Support Centre Assistant to support our learners in our library.

The successful candidate will supervise the day-to-day running of the computerised library system for books, resources and IT equipment.

Duties will include:

Supporting learners with day-to-day learning and study support
Undertake general library, information and learner support duties
Provide administrative support to the College as required

About the person

The successful candidate will have:

A good level of IT skills and knowledge
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Educated to Level 2/GCSE English and Maths is an essential qualification to have for this role
A Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning and/or Level 3 or above in vocational subject/subjects would be desirable

We welcome applications from interested candidates that may have been in education or library services previously, although this is not essential.
