About
I am currently looking for job opportunities in the Manchester area after returning from Saudi Arabia and would like to introduce myself for any roles aligned with my background and experience.
I have over 17 years of experience working within adult education and public sector environments, alongside earlier local authority experience in housing management and education welfare. My career has combined leadership, operational coordination, safeguarding, reporting, and professional development responsibilities.
Most recently, I have worked as an English Language Instructor at King Abdul Aziz University and King Saud University, where in addition to teaching, I mentored and coordinated the daily tasks of over 45 instructors, delivered professional development workshops, contributed to curriculum improvement initiatives, and produced reports and correspondence between staff and management. I was selected to complete Cambridge University’s Train the Trainer programme and have presented at conferences and teacher development workshops.
Prior to this, I worked for Gloucestershire County Council as an Education Welfare Officer, where I provided policy guidance, analyzed attendance and behavioral data, developed action plans for vulnerable young people, and worked with courts and multi-agency stakeholders to enforce statutory responsibilities. This role strengthened my experience in safeguarding, case management, compliance, and structured reporting.
Earlier in my career, I served as Assistant Housing Manager for Camden Council, managing 50 flats within the Temporary Housing Department. My responsibilities included tenancy management, contractor liaison, staff supervision, health and safety compliance, recruitment and induction, and producing analytical reports.
Across my roles, I have developed strong organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, confident communication with diverse stakeholders, and a calm, solutions-focused approach to complex situations.
I am now open to new job opportunities and challenges where I can use my experience and skills. I am also happy to work towards further qualifications whilst in the role, if such opportunities arise.
I have attached my CV and would welcome the opportunity to discuss any suitable permanent or contract roles you may be working on. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information.
