About
As a qualified and experienced Assessor on Distance Learning programmes I am seeking a part-time role with your provider. Educated at Warwick University and Greater Manchester. Holder of a BA Hon degree and PGCE with QTS. Possess a level 3 Assessor qualification. 30 years successful teaching experience in FE delivering Access to HE units on Social Science/Health Studies courses alongside effective delivery of GCE A-level Sociology and Politics. OFSTED Grade 2 teacher in all lesson observations.
Substantial experience of social welfare outside FE. Published widely on social affairs, post-16 education and public policy on FE News, NE Bylines, Newsquest, Trinity and Post 16 Educator.
Currently a Newcastle City Councillor - Deputy Leader (Labour Party)
