About
I am a creative media educator and practitioner seeking teaching positions in graphic design, animation, and illustration. With a background in the creative industries and academic teaching, I bring a balanced and informed approach to delivering practical, industry relevant education. My qualifications include a Master’s degree in Illustration and a Certificate in Education, which underpin my ability to teach effectively across a range of creative disciplines.
I have taught on further and higher education programmes, delivering modules in design, animation principles, concept art, and visual communication. My teaching is informed by professional experience in both freelance and agency settings, where I developed brand identities, packaging, and multimedia assets for major clients across a range of sectors. This industry background allows me to bring real-world insight into the classroom, helping students align their creative work with current professional standards.
I am currently delivering private tuition, working one to one with learners to develop their creativeskills in graphic design, animation, and illustration. My previous temp post as a lecturer in creative media concluded recently, and I am now looking to build on my teaching experience in a new academic environment. I am passionate about encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and technical competence in students, and I remain committed to delivering inclusive, engaging, and professionally grounded education.
