About
With a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering (M.Tech in CAD/CAM) and an MBA from the UK, combined with hands-on teaching experience both internationally and in the UK, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to your department and support student success.
As a Higher Education Engineering Lecturer at Newcastle Rail and Civil college in the UK, I continue to build on this foundation by delivering level 1 and level 2 Engineering modules, designing assessments and supervising student design projects with a focus on CAD modelling. My commitment to inclusive teaching practices and continuous professional development aligns well with UK Higher Education standards and I actively participate in quality assurance and academic administration to maintain high teaching standards.
As an Assistant Professor at J B Institute of Engineering and Technology in India, I had the privilege of teaching B.Tech students at both first and final years. I delivered core modules such as CAD/CAM, Engineering Drawing and Workshop Practice, ensuring students gained a solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles alongside practical software skills using AutoCAD, CATIA and ANSYS. I also supervised final-year undergraduate projects, guiding students through all stages from proposal development to dissertation submission. This experience honed my ability to mentor students and develop curricula that integrate academic rigor with industry relevance.
I am particularly passionate about inspiring engineering students to apply theoretical knowledge to solve real-world problems, fostering critical thinking and preparing them for successful careers. My international teaching experience has equipped me with strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse learning environments, which I believe would be an asset to your institution.
I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your college and support the students in achieving their academic and professional goals. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how my background and skills align with your department's needs.
