About
I am an English language educator with a PhD in English Language Education, an MA TESOL and a PGCE in Further Education and Skills, awarded by the University of Sunderland in July 2026.
My experience combines UK ESOL teaching at Entry 2 and Entry 3 during my Sunderland College placement with university teaching and postgraduate supervision at Sana’a University, where I served as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. I have also taught general English, advanced writing and TOEFL preparation at AMIDEAST.
I plan inclusive lessons, adapt activities to learners’ language and literacy needs, and use formative assessment and constructive feedback to support progress. My academic work focuses on language teaching, learner motivation and educational technology.
I am seeking ESOL, EAP and English language teaching opportunities in further and higher education. Based in South Shields, I am open to relocation for a suitable full-time role.
