I have over 25 years experience in hotel management much of it in 4 star hotels . While I was Assistant Manager at The Swan Hotel at Newby Bridge I helped the hotel gain BS5750 accreditation and drew up the quality standards to be implemented . My experience was divided amongst food and beverage conference and banqueting and front office. However since gaining my PGCE I have spent more time in secondary education as a supply teacher rather than FE where I have ionly been offered short term assignments
