I am an experienced EFL teacher, having worked in a lot of different environments in Spain, Britain, Greece and online with three Chinese companies and one Romanian company. I have been teaching since I got the CELTA in 2014, primarily with children and teenagers in specialist EFL schools but also in public schools, summer schools and private settings. I have additionally taught retired people and very young children. I have worked with many residential schools and really enjoy the multinational aspect of the experience.
I really like English teaching because of its interpersonal aspect and also because of its great use in the wider world. You feel that you are doing the students a direct service in giving them a tool which they will almost certainly need to use outside of the classroom. Although I consider it of more primary importance to be able to practically use the language, I know the use of having a certificate and have helped students to prepare for the Cambridge First Certificate and Proficiency exams, the IELTS exam and the Michigan Proficiency both as part of a language school and as a private tutor. I have now worked with students of all age ranges and all language levels and really enjoy my work. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
