About
Experienced ESOL and Foundation Programme Leader working in Further Education, with a strong focus on Entry Level and Level 1 provision. I specialise in designing and delivering NCFE-aligned programmes that support learners with EAL, SEND, SEMH, and low prior attainment to progress confidently into education, training, and employment.
I have extensive experience leading Foundation and Employability courses, developing compliant schemes of work, adaptive lesson resources, and meaningful assessment using RARPA and learner progress tracking. My teaching approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and learner-centred, with a strong emphasis on engagement, confidence-building, and real-world workplace skills.
Alongside teaching, I provide curriculum leadership, quality assurance, and staff support, including lesson observations, coaching, and CPD. I work collaboratively with pastoral teams, careers advisers, and external agencies to ensure learners receive holistic support and clear progression pathways.
I am passionate about widening participation, embedding British Values, Equality & Diversity, and empowering learners who may have had negative experiences of education to succeed and thrive.
