I am a highly organised and self-driven individual who is passionate about advancing my career in business partnering.
I am a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), holder of Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and a Certificate of Trusteeship from the Association of Pension Funds.

In my current role as Financial Controller with Steps Together Group, I am responsible for leading the budget preparation process and working closely with budget holders across the organisation. I prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial performance reports to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), while driving operational efficiencies through the streamlining of operations and accounting systems. I also work closely with the SLT to review and appraise proposed projects and services, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making.

Prior to this, I served as Finance Manager for Walesby Forest, a charity operating within the tourism sector. My responsibilities included the preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, external audit file preparation, maintenance of the fixed asset register, and the implementation of systems and process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting.

I was also Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Nyaradzo Life Assurance Company Pension fund, representing approximately 1200 permanent employees, working together with Asset managers to develop and oversee investment strategies focused on achieving sustainable fund growth, value preservation and managing risk effectively.
