About
I am passionate about supporting students in achieving academic excellence. With a strong background in education, research, and teaching, I am confident in my expertise and experience. I obtained my teaching license (PGCE with QTS) in 2025 from the University of Buckingham, and a Master’s degree in Special Educational Needs (SEN) with a distinction from Edge Hill University, Ormskirk. I hold a Masters degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Jilin University Changchun in 2019, after which I obtained my PhD in Education Leadership and Management from Southwest University Chongqing in 2022, where my thesis employed the mixed method research approach and focused on job motivation of private school teachers in Nigeria in a crisis context. These academic exposures are proofs that I am not only committed to continued learning and development, but is also equipped with a deep understanding of student learning processes and effective teaching methodologies. My academic journey has, as well, equipped me with strong research and analytical skills, which I apply to curriculum planning, differentiation and adaptive teaching, and assessment.
Key aspects of my teaching and coaching experience include:
✅ Personalised Support – I have worked with students on an individual and group basis, providing targeted interventions and differentiated support to enhance understanding.
✅ Assessment for Learning – I use formative and summative assessment strategies to track progress, identify gaps in learning, and provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
✅ Scaffolding and Adaptive Teaching – My experience with SEND and EAL learners has strengthened my ability to scaffold learning and adapt instructional methods to suit different abilities.
