My background spans both Further Education and Independent Education environments, where I
have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to service excellence, team development, and
strategic operational management.
I am a commercially astute and self-motivated professional with a proven track record in managing
diverse teams and services to the highest standards. I thrive on creating motivated, high-performing
teams that are committed to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. My approach combines a
strong results orientation with attention to detail in service delivery, compliance, and presentation. I
communicate effectively and adapt my style as needed to engage with a wide range of stakeholders,
both internally and externally.
Prior to taking redundancy from my role as Director of Operations, and in my previous role as
Deputy Bursar (Operations) at a leading Independent School, I have held strategic responsibility for
the oversight and delivery of key operational services. These have included catering (both in-house
and contracted services), cleaning, event management, estates and grounds, maintenance, health
and safety, risk management, GDPR compliance, and commercial lettings. This wide-ranging remit
has allowed me to develop a robust understanding of operational risk, governance, and stakeholder
engagement.
I am also a qualified trainer, holding an Adult & Further Education Teachers Certificate, which
enables me to deliver training to staff and external candidates. I hold enhanced DBS clearance, am a
trained Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and have completed Safer Recruitment training –
underscoring my commitment to safeguarding and professional standards in educational
environments and beyond.
