I am writing to express my interest in the Head of Food position within your organisation. With over 30 years of international hospitality experience leading multi-site culinary operations, concept development, and large-scale restaurant openings, I bring a strong blend of culinary innovation, commercial awareness, and operational leadership.
In my current role as Executive Food & Drinks Development Chef with The Restaurant Group, I lead food strategy and menu development across more than 40 hospitality sites located in major UK airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, and Luton. I am responsible for driving new concept development, delivering profitable menu strategies, overseeing new restaurant openings, and implementing operational frameworks that ensure consistency and brand integrity across multiple locations.
Throughout my career I have successfully delivered more than 40 plus restaurant openings across different sectors of Catering on land & water, developed scalable menu concepts, and improved gross profit through supplier optimisation and recipe engineering. My work has included collaboration with leading industry chefs such as James Martin, Paul Hollywood, and Gordon Ramsay on branded hospitality concepts and menu innovation.
