Salary - AP08 £21,008.62 - £25,029.47 per annum, depending on experience
Hours - 26 hours per week

The Isle of Wight College is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Esports and Digital to join our expanding Business and Digital Industries team.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow our provision, delivering engaging teaching across Level 2 and Level 3 Esports and Level 1 and Level 2 Digital programmes. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of both subject areas, and a passion for creating outstanding learning experiences that prepare students for higher education, apprenticeships and employment.
As a lecturer, you will plan, deliver and assess high-quality learning that combines practical, academic and industry-relevant skills. You will encourage students to become confident, independent learners while helping them develop the professional behaviours, teamwork and resilience that employers value.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong understanding of Esports and Digital technologies.
- Is passionate about teaching and inspiring the next generation.
- Creates engaging, inclusive and innovative learning experiences.
- Believes in putting students first and supporting every learner to achieve their potential.
- Is committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team and is comfortable working across two curriculum departments.
- Is enthusiastic about contributing to curriculum innovation and helping grow an exciting area of college provision.
