3D and Arts Technician

Role Information:

Location: Stroud Campus

FTE Salary: Up to £25,287.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)

Actual Salary: Up to £8,552.66

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, Term Time Only

Working Hours: 14.8 hours a week, 38 weeks per year

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

· Maintain and update relevant equipment and studios, including the ordering of resources.

· Support and facilitate lecturers teaching 3D-based subject matters.

· Support and facilitate exhibitions and the wider school of art where appropriate.

· Safeguard students through the monitoring and updating of risk assessments and observation of policies.

· Collaborate with other technicians and teachers to ensure skills are shared and kept up to date in line with industry change.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

· Ideally educated to Degree or higher in a creative based subject.

· 3D design and material skills.

· Open minded, experimental and collaborative approach to creative work.

· Ideally some professional experience in a relevant industry role.

· Ideally some experience in education settings.
