The Role
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and inspirational Student Experience Enrichment Coordinator to join our Student Experience team. This exciting role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about creating outstanding opportunities that enhance student engagement, wellbeing, personal development and overall college experience.
The successful candidate will lead on the planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse enrichment programme, working closely with students, staff, external partners and the wider community. You will play a key role in developing activities, events and initiatives that inspire participation, celebrate diversity and support student success both inside and outside the classroom.
You will possess excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate events and maintain accurate records to a high standard. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, creative and solution focused, with strong problem-solving and leadership skills. The ability to motivate and inspire staff and students, whilst working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, is vital.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the student experience and contribute positively to a vibrant and inclusive College community.
What Will You Bring to the Role
- Adapting: Adapting is essential as a College Enrichment Coordinator because student needs, interests and challenges constantly evolve. Being adaptable allows enrichment opportunities to remain engaging, inclusive and relevant, while responding effectively to feedback, emerging trends and unexpected situations. Flexibility helps build positive student experiences, encourages participation and ensures activities continue to support wellbeing, development and success.
- Collaborating: Collaborating is vital as a College Enrichment Coordinator because successful enrichment relies on strong partnerships with staff, students, external organisations and the wider community. Effective collaboration encourages creativity, improves communication and ensures opportunities are inclusive, engaging and meaningful. Working together helps maximise resources, strengthen student support and enhance the overall student experience.
- Focused: Being focused is important as a College Enrichment Coordinator because it ensures activities, events and support remain aligned to student needs and College priorities. A focused approach helps manage multiple responsibilities effectively, maintain high standards, meet deadlines and create meaningful opportunities that positively contribute to student engagement, wellbeing, personal development and success.
- Problem Solving: Problem solving is essential as a College Enrichment Coordinator because challenges can arise unexpectedly when organising activities, supporting students or working with partners. Strong problem-solving skills enable quick, effective decisions that maintain positive experiences and minimise disruption. Being solution focused helps overcome barriers, improve opportunities and ensure enrichment activities remain inclusive, successful and engaging.

How we recruit
We aim to recruit based on potential, not experience. We are interested in seeing your behaviours in action and how they will help you become successful at City College Plymouth, giving everyone the opportunity to show their potential, regardless of background or experience.
After completing our online application form, you will be asked to complete an online assessment within a few days of this Vacancy closing. This assessment asks you no questions at all. Instead, it observes your behaviour and natural strengths in action, with a series of engaging, intuitive tasks. You will receive a report outlining your behaviours once you have completed the assessment, regardless of whether you progress to the next stage or not, providing you with some feedback.
The College welcomes applications from service leavers and the Armed Forces community, and supports those service leavers who are Reservists in any of the Armed Forces.
The College reserves the right to close this advertisement early if sufficient applications have been received.
