Role Information:

Location: Stroud Campus

FTE Salary: Up to £29,370.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)

Hourly Rate: Up to £30.29 (inclusive of holiday and preparation allowance)

Contract Type: 0 hour contract, fixed term until 31st August 2026

Working Hours: Part time, 8 hours per week

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

To undertake all forms of pedagogic work which may include classroom teaching, lecturer work and associated outreach duties, open and distance learning courses and student placements.
To ensure the associated organisational and required administrative work, preparation and marking is undertaken.
To provide the appropriate student welfare and academic/non-academic counselling responsibilities and ensure safeguarding procedure is adhered to.
To conduct curriculum development work including identification of consumer requirements, planning, development and evaluation of courses and course materials.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

Recent and relevant industry experience
Have experience of working in a pressured environment to tight timescales and deadlines
Outstanding organisational skills
Excellent communication, literacy and teaching presentation skills
IT Literate (especially proficient in the use of Excel and Word)
Communication skills
Organisation skills – administration/time management
