Boston College is looking to recruit Multi Skilled Distance Learning Assessor for its growing provision. We are looking for motivated and supportive individuals to work within our rapidly growing curriculum. We need roles for each of the different sectors within our offer. These include Environmental Sustainability, neurodiversity, Health and Social Care, Early Years, Digital Skills, Business Administration, Team Leading, Counselling, Equality & Diversity, Wellbeing and many others. Requirements for Distance Learning Assessor
- A Teaching qualification is essential
· Either hold or currently working towards an Assessors qualification is desirable.
· Hold a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
· Possess excellent organisational skills, having the ability to prioritise workloads and be able to work independently.
· A Qualification or experience in the particular sector relating to your application
· Have excellent communication skills which are essential to work with learners and colleagues across college, along with the ability to be able to build good working relationships.
· Previous experience in Distance Learning assessment is essential.
Responsibilities for Distance Learning Assessor
· Assessing on the college’s Distance Learning platforms.
· Supporting learners to achieve Level 2 courses in the different pathways.
· You will be assisted by the Distance Learning Administration Team, who will help in monitoring those enrolled.
· As a Distance Learning Assessor, you will be able to work entirely remotely, but can come onto the campus if you wish.

· Pay for this role is based on a ‘piece rate’ system, with Assessors given a fixed rate per learner assignments passed.
· We can assist our Distance Learning Assessors who wish to obtain an Internal Verifier qualification.
