About the role
The Faculty of Service Industries are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Tutor to join the well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with the team and Heads of Faculty to provide high quality and responsive curriculum.
Other duties will include:
- Curriculum design
- Monitor progress, tracking, assessment of learners relevant to the awarding body
- Maintain up to date records
- Carry out the general administrative duties associated with the post, including registers, timetabling requirements etc.
- Contribute to the marketing, promotions and enhancing of the profile of the programme area.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, as well as strong organisation and administrative skills.
Candidates should also have:
- Level 2/GCSE Maths and English
- Level 3/Degree in Sport
- Prior experience of working in sport
- A passion for outdoor sports
- ICT competency
