Sandwell College Group is proud to announce the opening of the Cradley Heath Skills Campus — a brand-new £9 million centre.
The new campus is set to change the way people across the Black Country learn, train and build their careers.
Funded by the Government’s Towns Fund, the Cradley Heath Skills Campus will open in 2026, offering state-of-the-art inclusive facilities and expert-led teaching for adults and young people to gain practical skills employers are looking for.
The new Campus has been created to give people access to training and career routes in growing sectors such as Construction, Health and Social Care, and Digital and IT — with more exciting pathways to come.
Whether you’re just starting out, retraining, or looking to take your career further, the Skills Campus will provide the hands-on experience and confidence you need to progress, and make it easier than ever to gain recognised qualifications
The campus will feature:
- Specialist workshops for construction, trades, and engineering
- Industry-standard equipment and learning environments
- Dedicated apprenticeship and work-based learning spaces
- Opportunities to gain real-world skills that meet local employer demand
Opening in early 2026, this exciting development is not only focussed on education, but also regeneration – forming part of the Rowley Regis Town Investment Plan, the Campus is supporting local people, businesses and the community.
Alongside the courses, the Skills Campus will also provide space for community involvement – including a Starbucks Café and more. More information will be released nearer to opening time!
