[£200m investment] Skills & Education training to be transformed with innovative projects
The government has announced a substantial £200 million investment to revolutionise skills training, benefiting people across the nation, especially in booming sectors like green energy, digital, and construction.
This investment is a key step in meeting the increasing demand for green skills, crucial for the UK's journey towards net zero and energy security. Opportunities in heat pump installation, solar panel maintenance, electric vehicle manufacturing, and environmental consultancy are expected to proliferate, offering a multitude of exciting green job prospects.
Education Secretary Gillian Keegan emphasises the importance of this initiative.
